Occasionally, it will be necessary to remove a helical style insert from a threaded hole. Chrislynn extraction tools can perform this task easily and effectively. These tools are formed with a triangular head, which can be tapped down into the insert, cutting into the threads. It can then back that insert out of the hole by turning the t-shaped handle in a counter-clockwise direction.
